![]() ![]() To make data entry easier you can just type the apostrophe first. That's at least logical (and I'm speaking as an American used to the "strange" mm-dd-yyyy order) and Numbers will interpret it correctly. If you need to do date calculations, then I've found the easiest solution is to pick the yyyy-mm-dd format. It will display them as you want, though. Just bear in mind that Numbers will still be confused about which is month and which is day if you actually want to do date calculations. If you merely want to display dates in your Numbers tables as you want them to appear, then your solution (the leading apostrophe) is the simplest. I agree with your comment that posters here should be providing you with a better solution rather than suggest that you are somehow doing something wrong, including making a mistake by using Numbers! If not tell me a better solution than the one i used ![]() ![]() So please suggest me the way to get the dates to be displayed in the uk format. ![]()
